According to Sky Sport Italia, Wolfsburg have joined the list of teams keen to make a move for the Juventus striker Amauri.

The lower Saxony side appears intense to widen their attacking options since their signing of Liverpool centre-back Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Trabzonspor full back Hrvoje Cale on Monday.

The 31-year-old has been in talks with several Serie A clubs this summer, but his €4 million per annum wage demands have been too much for anyone to bite the bait.

Palermo, Napoli and Genoa have since moved on after showing initial interest, and Parma and Turin are now to be out of the picture.

Although the Italo-Brazillian would wish to remain in Serie A, a solid Wolfsburg offer could see him leaving for German Bundesliga.

With the transfer window closing soon, Amauri's representative is reportedly set to meet Juventus directors on Tuesday to discuss a possible agreement.
