Arsenal have confirmed that exciting Costa Rican teenager Joel Campbell has completed a move to the club.
The London club have been tracking the 19-year-old for much of the summer.
It appeared at one stage as though they may miss out on his signature, with Serie A side Fiorentina entering the race.
They have, however, been able to reach an agreement with Deportivo Saprissa and are now ready to welcome the highly-rated striker to the Emirates.
The teenager will link up with the Gunners fresh from starring for his country at the recent Under-20 World Cup in Colombia.
While regarded as a star turn at that level, he is also a regular for the Costa Rican senior side and already has six caps to his name.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to welcome the young striker to the club and look forward to his contributions to the team."
