Tottenham are lining up a daring £35million bid for highly-rated Porto striker Hulk.
The Brazilian international has been linked with a move out of the Europa League champions after a fantastic season for the Portogueuse side.
Villas-Boas’s Chelsea and big spenders Manchester City are among the clubs that have indicated their interest in the 25-year-old.
But according to The Daily Mail, Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has made Hulk as his major target to boost his strike force ahead of the new season.
Meanwhile, the muscular forward has a stunning £88million release clause in his contract but it is believed a £35million offer would move the hands of Porto into letting him go.
