Spain World cup winning coach Vicente del Bosque has reportedly rejected an offer to become manager of Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri finally appointed Gian Piero Gasperini following the exit of Leonardo to Paris Saint-Germain.

But according to AS.com, Del Bosque was at the top of Inter's wish-list.

Inter president Massimo Moratti even sent former player Luis Figo, who was coached by Del Bosque during their time at Real Madrid, to convince the Spanish tactician to move to the San Siro.

The Italian giants were also alleged to have offered the 59-year-old up to 10 times his current wages with Spain.

However, Del Bosque decided to honour his contract with the reigning World and European champions.

English side Chelsea were reportedly also in the running to sign him up but were faced with the same response.
