It was a terrible night for Real Madrid, after their 0-1 defeated over Levante last night.
Real Madrid actually could use Barcelona's draw over Sociedad last week as the advantage to maintain the top standings. Unfortunately, they flopped with nothing, while Barcelona grabbed 3 points from their 8-0 winning over Osasuna.
The person to blame Is defintely Sami Khedira. He was sent off with a red at the end of the first half. The situation clearly changed everything.
As for Mourinho,It's hard to understand why he chose to play a single striker, Benzema, and put Higuain and Ronaldo on the bench, as well as Oezil, the ball supplier.
And when Mourinho started panicking and played them on the second half,everything was too late. 10 against 11 was just to much for Madrid, who just finished their tiring Champions League match, comparing to the more fitted team Levante.
