Barcelona full-back Eric Abidal has emerged as the latest target for big spending Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
The 31-year-old French international, who recently had a surgery to remove a liver tumor and went on to lift the Champions League trophy with his side, has a year remaining in his contract at the Nou Camp.
According to Sport, big spending French outfit have been made aware of his contract situation and are ready to prise him over at the end of this season.
Abidal is believed to be eager in a new two-year deal with the Catalan giants, but the club are
only willing to offer him a conditional one-year extenstion based on performance targets.
That could force the veteran defender to consider his options and possibly leave Barcelona after this season.
PSG's ambition as shown by the money spent during the transfer window on players like Javier Pastore could convince Abidal to leave the Nou Camp for Parc des Princes.
