Wigan defender Antonio Amaya has signed a three-year contract with Spanish side Real Betis.
The 28-year-old centre-back arrived at the DW Stadium in the summer of 2009 but failed to make a his debut in Barclays Premier League and just played 3 cup matches for Wigan.
Amaya was loaned back to his former club Rayo Vallecano last season and has now made a permanent switch to La Liga with Betis.
