Football Terms ~ 1st series/2nd series
W. & F. Faulkner / Grenadier Cigarettes
W.D. & H.O. Wills / Capstan Cigarettes
12

The Sporting Terms series included golf, cycling, cricket and football - both codes. There were 12 football cards in the first series and in the second series. They are unnumbered and are listed here alphabetically. Some are rugby terms (scrimmage, etc.), some are football terms (centre forward, etc.) and others can be either (full back, etc.).
The illustrations show, on the top row, three of the cards issued in Australia with Wills; Capstan Cigarettes brand. The middle row shows the two different back designs used for those cards, whilst the bottom row shows one original and two reprints of the W. & F. Faulkner issue, which have blank backs.
